The City has two flexible spending plans available for employees.
The first one allows you to have money taken from each pay check to go toward either medical expense or dependent care expense. It is important that you carefully estimate how much you will spend during the year. The money you set aside in this account must be used within the plan year or the first three months of the following year. Any unspent funds are forfeited by law.
