NOTICE TO OLEAN RESIDENTS

 WALKABLE OLEAN PHASE III

On Monday, May 20, 2024 the City of Olean and its contractor will begin work on Walkable Olean Phase III.  This project will affect:

East State Street (from N Union Street to East Avenue)

 This project involves resurfacing the street, the installation of a mini roundabout at the intersection of East State Street and Barry Street as well as limited storm water system improvements.  There will be significant traffic delays, detours will be in place through the completion of the project. Construction is scheduled to continue through November 2024.   It is recommended that motorists find alternate routes.  We appreciate your patience as we undertake this project.
