City of Olean to Open Front Street Lot for Storm Debris

March 17, 2025—Olean—William J. Aiello, Mayor of the City of Olean, announced that the Front Street City Lot, near the intersection of Seneca Street in Olean, will be opened on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m..  The lot will be open for residents to dispose of brush, tree branches and limbs downed during the windstorm on Sunday, March 16, 2025. Tree trunks will not be accepted.

The lot will be opened for City of Olean residents only, identification with proof of residency will be required.  No contractors will be allowed.  The lot will be supervised by a City of Olean employee.  Paper bags are allowed but no plastic bags will be accepted.
