The City of Olean Department of Public Works is seeking qualified candidates for appointment to full-time positions of Construction Worker in the Water Distribution Division and Sewer Maintenance Division. Minimum qualifications as established by the Civil Service Commission state that applicants must have at least one year of experience as a laborer involving either the construction of bridges, roads, water and sewers appurtenances, buildings, or related field.  Candidates for this position must have a valid NYS Commercial Driver’s License.  City of Olean residents preferred.    Applications will be accepted until Friday, September 1, 2023, and can be obtained from the Olean Department of Public Works, 101 E State St, Municipal Building-Rm 206; by calling (716)376-5650; or at www.cityofolean.org.
