City Phone System Changeover Announcement

City of Olean March 31, 2025 — The City of Olean would like to inform the public that our city phone system will be switching over to a new service today at approximately 11am. During this transition, there will be a period of downtime where our regular phone lines will be temporarily unavailable.

To ensure uninterrupted communication, Cattaraugus County will be handling all police service calls on our behalf during this time. Instead of calling our usual dispatch number at 716-376-5677, please dial 716-938-9191 for assistance until further notice.  As always, call 911 for emergencies only.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to improve our services.  We will release another press notice once services have been restored.
