City of Olean Residents
North 1st Street (W State St to W Sullivan St)
Laurens Street (N Union St to N 4th St)
Weather permitting, the City of Olean’s contractor, D&H Excavating, will begin milling North 1st Street (from West State St to West Sullivan St) on Saturday, September 16, 2023, and then they will begin milling Laurens Street (North Union St to North 4th St) on Monday, September 18, 2023. This phase of the work will continue through the next week. This will involve grinding down the streets, which will create rough road conditions. Please use caution when traveling through these areas.
It is recommended that motorists take alternate routes. Local traffic only will be allowed on these streets while work is in progress.
