In the next couple weeks, the City of Olean Department of Public Works and its contractor will continue work on the Walkable Olean Phase II project along Main Street (between North Union Street and Center Street) and along Front Street (between North Union Street and First Avenue). Most work will be focused south of the Main Street bridge.

Two-way vehicle traffic and pedestrian traffic will be open for the length of the project, but delays should be expected at times. Motorists are encouraged to take alternate routes.

The anticipated completion of this project is July 1, 2021.
