OLEAN AREA RESIDENTS

On Tuesday, July 18, 2023, starting at 8 am, the City of Olean Department of Public Works Water Distribution will be performing a 12” water main valve replacement at the intersection of Clark Street and East State Street.   

This will require the west bound traffic lane to be closed. There will be flagmen directing traffic. Please expect delays.

Water will be off to the surrounding homes and businesses at approximately 10:30am and is expected to last 3 – 4 hours.

Work is expected to be completed in one day. The west bound lane will be reopened as quickly as possible. 

Please use caution when traveling in this area.  Motorists are encouraged to use an alternate route.
